Netherlands, Amsterdam

Bonjour Tout le Monde,

I hope this post finds you all well. So within the last three days, my friends and I went to the Netherlands. Amsterdam was quite amazing. First of all, I was pleasantly surprised by the vast amount of diversity here. I saw people from literally all over and it was nice to hear them all speaking Dutch, some German or English. Secondly, everyone here literally bikes. Even the tiny babies bike. It's so inspiring! Thirdly, there are numerous shopping complexes and each one of them was calling my name. Lastly, there are a lot of buildings in Amsterdam that are quite crooked. If you look below, you'll see a couple.

I had the pleasure of visiting China Town, the library that provides a perfect view of the entire city once you reach the top, the residential areas of Amsterdam, and lastly, Red Light District. Out of all of those places, Red Light District was the hardest for me to go through. I feel as if I learned a bit about the city by going through all of these places.

Ohh, I ate PUFF PUFF (a Nigerian snack) in Amsterdam. OMG, it was delicious!

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed Amsterdam. The people were beautiful and the town was just as beautiful.

Avec amour et bisous

Can you see the crooked buildings? I saw this all throughout, but it was quite cool. And almost all of the buildings look like that. It must take some skill to figure out how to fit everything in there and then decorate it to your liking!

This is one of the allies that we went through. There are literally so many of these in the Centraal Station. You will also find many stores and businesses in that area! Each one looked a bit different and I think that's what made it so cool.

Lol, macaroons. No, I didn't buy any. Maybe in France!

Seen while walking.

Went karaoke for the first time and it was absolutely delightful. Met some lovely people from all over. I think one was from France. She was great! I sang my heart out in solo's and group acts with these amazing ladies.! Felix and Tonye also had some great solos!

Flea Market close to the hostel.

Just beautiful! There are so many canals in Amsterdam like the ones in Italy. That's why it's called Venice of the North.

This was also great to see.! :)

Flower Shop

Panoramic view of an area within Amsterdam.

A temple in China Town that we visited. It was quite cool.
