Study Abroad: Ahhh, Someone Pinch Me

Bonjour Tout Le Monde,

I hope this post finds you well. I am more than excited to say that I have booked my flight for my study abroad experience in Belgium. It's all so surreal to think that this is finally happening and that within the next month and a half, I will be in Europe.

The process of acquiring a visa has been a bit extraneous, but it's finally done and now I just have to wait to receive it. It is very important to be proactive with all of the necessary steps needed to acquire your passport, visa, etc. Everything does take a bit of time to complete.

On that note, I will be spending New Years and an additional few days in Germany with my amazing friend Tonye and I couldn't be more excited. We have a ton of things planned and some of that will fulfill some of the items on our Bucket List. Check out those items and if you guys have any suggestions of things to do, comment below!! This list is still being built!

Blessing's Bucket List

  • Visit prospective universities for graduate school like London School of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, etc
  • Visit my friend in Edinburgh and visit University of Edinburgh
  • Eat Belgian Waffles
  • Visit super touristy places in France like Le Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Champ Elysees, etc
  • Find a favourite coffee shop in Belgium
  • Go to a concert/ futbol game
  • Take a picture where the Cheetah Girls 2 movie was shot :D
  • Visit touristy places in London and go shopping
  • Go to a meet and greet for any of my youtube gurus that I follow
Places I want to Visit

  • Spain: Barcelona, Portugal
  • UK: London, Scotland, Ireland
  • Europe: France, Italy, Budapest, Germany, Austria
I think most people think that since they are in a new country,  they should travel as much as they can but personally, I think that I want to travel as much as I can but I am going to focus my efforts on trying to get familiarized with Belgium and get some favourite places established in Belgium, like a favourite coffee shop, bookstore, marketplace, etc. I even plan on renting a bike for the time that I am there!!!! I am so excited and I can't wait to start including photos from my trip. Thanks guys

  1. You are going to have such a great time! My youngest daughter spent a semester in Italy and she absolutely loved it! She was in Venice and did just a little traveling to 3 other towns and to London, but mostly got to know the area around the school and her apt.... what great times!!! Ms. Lucero

    1. Hi Ms. Lucero! Thanks for the comment. I am so excited to be here and I hope I love it as much as your youngest daughter did. Maybe she could tell me one of her favorite places in Venice and I could visit while I am in Italy. I will be trying to also stay close to Brussels and know the area more.. Its going to be awesome.

  2. This is especially true as most high school students best essays cannot usually avail themselves of the financial aid available for college students.

  3. I hope you will share such type of impressive contents again with us so that we can utilize it and get more advantage. تحصیل در انگلستان بدون مدرک زبان
